An English translation of Wunder um Verdun, a pacifist German play about World War 1 by Hans Chlumberg (1897 - 1930)[1].

First performed in Leipzig in October, 1930.

First performed in English at the Martin Beck Theatre New York on 16 March 1931.


South African productions

1939: Done in English at the Pioneer Theatre, Johannesburg, directed and designed by Leo Kerz.
