Roshina Ratnam
(19*-) Singer, dancer and actress. Studied for a Performer’s Diploma from the University of Cape Town. Besides her stage and film work, she also runs an industrial theatre group working with social issues. As an actress roles has had roles in among others A Dream Deferred (20**), Equus (20**), For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide/When the Rainbow is Enuf (2002, Fleur du Cap Award for Best Performance in a Musical or Revue, shared with the cast), Salaam Stories (20**), Happy Endings are Extra (20**), My Body is my Home (2004?*, travelling to Maputo, Paris and Amsterdam), Hamlet (Baxter, 2005), **. TV and film work includes SOS, Slavery of Love and The Meeting Room.
