Adapted into English as Jocrisse the Juggler a drama in three acts by Thomas William Robertson and first performed at the Royal Adelphi Theatre, London, 12 October 1860 (as Magloire, the Prestigiator) and published as Jocrisse the Juggler by T.H. Lacy

This in turn was the basis of A Noble Outcast by Originally performed in 1888, it was published in Chicago by the Dramatic Publishing Company in 1896 (Sergel's acting drama, no. 429).
