The original text
The play was produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company and the Fugard Theatre, and had its world premiere at The Royal Shakespeare Company’s Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon in England in 2019.

2019: The RSC/Fugard Theatre production was first presented in South Africa by Eric Abraham at the Fugard Theatre, from 30 April 2019. Directed by Janice Honeyman with John Kani and Antony Sher.
