The Government School Building in Wynberg, mentioned as a venue for theatrical performances in the 19th century, probably refers to the buildings of what is known today as Wynberg Boy's High School (originally founded in 1822).
In 1869 for example, the Amateur Coloured Troupe performed at least once in this venue.
