1990: First staged at the Natal Playhouse by the Playhouse Company, directed and choreographed by Geoffrey Sutherland. Creative director and production designer: Andrew Botha.
1995: Staged by CAPAB, Johannesburg Civic Theatre and The Playhouse Company, now subtitled We Will Rock You!, though it is not the Ben Elton and musical). Performed by Joseph Clark, Sam Marais and Luciano Zuppa. Original direction and choreography by Geoffrey Sutherland. Creative director and production designer: Andrew Botha. Staged by Bryan Hill. Sound designer: Robin Shuttleworth. Musical director: Chantel Sanders.
