Cas van Rensburg (1942-2018) was a Jungian analyst, journalist, critic, author and playwright.

Born in ***, *****. He died in Onrusrivier in May 2018.

He was primarily a versatile and widely-read journalist, who wrote articles and reviews for a number of publications, but was also a Jungian analyst of renown. He had studied Jungian psychology in London, under Marianne Jacoby, for a number of years, which led him to his interest in theatre.

After his retirement he wrote a number of books, one of the most successful being Jou drome – jou onbewuste het ál die antwoorde ("Your Dreams- Your subconscious has all the answers", 2000), a work strongly influenced by Jung.
