A play by Reza de Wet. Explores the life of Emily Brontë's brooding hero before he arrived at Wuthering Heights. Originally written in the early 1980s, utilizing the world of the travelling performers as frame, under the title Heathcliff and the Dancing Bear, but was not published or produced at the time. Finally produced as a musical under the new title Heathcliff Goes Home as De Wet's final directorial production at Rhodes University in 2007.
