Albert Pretorius (19**-) is a stage and film actor and playwright.

He also performs under the name Albertus Pretorius on occasion.

He is a founding director of The Pink Couch company, along with Tara Notcutt, Gideon Lombard and Mat Lewis.

Stage roles in Long Walk to Freedom, 3 Little Pigs (2014), Balbesit (2013), Thom Pain (based on nothing) (2014), Dogma, Playland (2014), Fatal (2015), Waiting for this God ou (2014)

Television Roles include Waterfront (Season 1) Binnelanders (Season 6), Die Boekklub (Season 2), Buurtwag (Season 1) and Die Boland Moorde (Seasons 1 and 2).

Film roles include Die Wonderwerker (2012), Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013) and Konfetti (2014).

As a playwright he has written he co-authored ...MISKIEN with Tara Notcutt and Gideon Lombard (2014); Fatal (2015),
