A glossy, informative journal devoted to the performing arts, founded in 1985/6/7???* by Julius Eichbaum, and edited and published by him through his publishing house TRIAD Publishers ???****. Discontinued with the passing away of Julius Eichbaum in 1998/9??** Published sharp and provocative editorials and articles on the state of arts and culture in South Africa. Ostensibly intended to serve all art forms, it gradually began to display a distinct preference for Eichbaum’s real passion: opera. For this reason too Eichbaum and the journal were at the forefront of all efforts to save the so-called “universal arts” (elite arts) in the face of the pressures towards Africanization in the 1990s.
