Krom stompe ("Twisted tree stumps") is a one act Afrikaans play by D.F. Malherbe (1881-1969).

The original text

A play about the monk Rudolphus and his confrontation with Robina, the love of his youth, and his own doubts about the choice he had made.

Published by Nasionale Boekhandel Bpk in Malherbe's collection Die Uur van die Rooi Maan en Ander Eenbedrywe in 1950.
