In 2003 PACOFS commissioned [[Pieter Fourie|Fourie] to adapt Etienne Leroux's novel Die Mugu for the stage. was ]] in 2003 vir die verhoog verwerk het.
Because of the chaos of transformation surrounding the performing arts council at the time, the play was never done, though the playwright was paid.
