He reviewed for Die Vaderland in the 1930s, including a review of the first production of Boumeester Solness by Ons Teaterjie-toneelgroep in 1935.
Publishger and editor of the theatre journal Helikon.
He wrote the plays Kom Ons Gaan Blomme Pluk... and Onsterflike Liefde.
