DE KOCK, Thea. (194*-) Drama teacher and educationist. Trained at the University of Pretoria Drama Department, taught drama and educational theatre at the Pretoria College of Education (197*-198*). A prominent speech teacher as well, who updated the standard Afrikaans handbook in 19** (***). A leading member of the South African Association for Drama and Youth Theatre (SAADYT) in the 1980s, before switching to the Education Faculty at the University of Pretoria.
