(19*-) Costume and décor designer. Born in Edinburgh, works for the Gateway Theatre as an assistant stage manager, then becomes assistant designer, before moving to Cheltenham as full time designer for the Everyman Theatre, the Donovan Maude Theatre in Kenya and finally for PACT in Pretoria, where he becomes executive and chief designer. His designs for them include Arms and the Man, Rashomon, Il Trovatore, (costumes), Twaalfde Nag (décor), Kiss Me, Kate, Carousel, The Secretary Bird, A Month in the Country (1969) . Also ballet productions such as Les Patineurs, Skone Slaapster and Carmen for the Roland Petit ballet company.
