Translated by an anonymous translator into Dutch as Julius van Sassen and published in Amsterdam by H. van Kesteren, 1805.
Performance history in South Africa
1829: First performed in Dutch translation in Cape Town by Tot Nut en Vermaak on 22 August, along with De Sint Nicolaas Avond, of Het Bezoek door den Schoorsteen (Kup).
1833: Performed in Dutch by the company Tot Nut en Vermaak on 12 October, with Jocrisse in Eenen Nieuwen Dienst (Dorvigny)
