FOURIE, Pieter J. (194*- ) Theorist, critic and academic. Studied Drama and Communication Studies at the University of Potchefstroom, became a lecturer and later Professor of Communication Studies at the University of South Africa, with particular interest in film and television. A member of the editorial board of SATJ.
