Burgert A. Senekal
Burgert A. Senekal is a lecturer researcher in literature, with interests in estrangement, information technology and complex networks.
Having obtained an M.A. degree in English and a PhD from the University of the Free State (2013), he joined the Eenheid vir Taalfasilitering en Bemagtiging ("Unit for Language facilitation and empowerment") at the UFS.
His contribution to South African theatre, film, media and performance.
He has published a number of studies of sociological and systemic aspects of the SA cultural system, including a number of articles in LitNet, among which:

He has also created and manages PRISMA: 'n Afrikaanse Kultuurbedryfdatabasis, an internet database which documents the contributions people have made to the Afrikaans cultural system and industry.
