Alexis, ou l'Erreur d'un bon Père is an "opéra comique", in one act by librettist Benoît Joseph Marsollier des Vivetières (1750-1817) and composer Nicolas-Marie Dalayrac (1753-1809).

Performance history in South Africa
1808: Performed in the original French on 28 May by Het Fransche Liefhebbery Geselschap in the Fransche Liefhebbery Theatre (i.e. "French Amateur Theatre"), Cape Town, as afterpiece to L'Opéra-Comique assiégé (Gillier, Lesage and d'Orneval).
