A 1949 Anglo-American film of the same name was directed by Vincent Sherman and starred Ronald Reagan, Patricia Neal, and Richard Todd.

Produced by Sol Rodsell and the Scopus Players at the Labia Theatre, Cape Town on 30 November 1953, starring Percy Sieff.
