Nanette et Lucas, ou La Paysanne Curieuse
Nanette et Lucas, ou La Paysanne Curieuse is a musical comedy in one act by Nicolas-Étienne Framery (1745-1810)[1], with music by M. le Chevalier D'Herbain (1732-1769)[2]. The play is also known as La Paysanne Curieuse.

First performed by the Comédiens Italiens on 14 June, 1764. Published in Paris, by Ruault, 1778
Performances in South Africa
1809: Performed in French by the French Company led by Charles Etienne Boniface, on 7 April as La Paysanne Curieuse in the African Theatre, Cape Town, with Le Projet Manque and Les Troubadours (Floquet).
