(19**-) actress, artist, dramatist, writer and inspirational speaker /Actress and dramatist. ** She starred in Reza de Wet’s Diepe Grond together with Dawid Minnaar, Gys de Villiers and Doris Sihula under Lucille Gillwald’s direction at Upstairs at the Market in 1986. * Panorama (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1987/8) She was married to Frank Opperman and later to Philip Moolman.
SUSAN COETZER also known as “Robyn de Swart’ from 7de Laan is being regarded – by both the media and the public – as one of our best South African actresses. Over the past two decades she has received numerous Vita- and Artes awards for best leading actress in stage and TV-productions such as Griet skryf ‘n sprokie, Daizy de Melker, Meester and more. She is also an established artist, having sold hundreds of oil paintings, exhibiting in many art galleries countrywide. As a writer, she contributes to various publications on a monthly basis, and has recently released her first novel : Oros vir die Siel. Co-owner of Die Blou Hond restaurant/theatre since 2002.
