BA Dram (Hons), University of Pretoria Drama Department.
Career
PACOFS 1992-1994. She began a freelance career in 1995.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
On stage she has appeared in Hospitaal op Horings, Anne Frank - Just a Diary (a production which she also directed) and Donkerland (1996). She directed Books Alive, Starbright - 'n Krismismusical and the one-woman show by Petru Wessels 27 Kinders vir 'n Vrou - 'n sprokie. She played Patricia Gouws in the television series Jackpot.
Known for the films Sononder (1971), In Search of the Muse (2000) and Scout's Safari (2002).
She has been involved with the management of Die Teaterhuisie in Pretoria.
Awards, etc
As student she received the Ludwig Binge Award. While at PACOFS she received the Cobus Rossouw Bursary for Most Promising Young Actress, as well as a Vita Award for her role as Matrone Malan in the Ray Clooney farce Hospitaal op Horings.
