Training
She studied drama for a year at Rhodes University before moving to America to follow an acting course at the Actors' and Directors' Lab in New York. There she played Pitty in Steve Gooch's Female Transport.

Her professional debut was as Sissy in Daar Leef Mense Daar, 1982.
