by James Robinson Planché. Also written Charles the Twelfth, Charles XII or Charles the XII. A historical drama in two acts, opened Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, 11th December, 1828 and performed 1828 – 1829.

Performed by Garrison Players (in fact the the officers of the 98th regiment), on 28 July 1835 in the African Theatre, and The Review, or The Wags of Windsor (Colman Jr).
