Going Down Gorgeous a satiric piece by Pieter-Dirk Uys (1945-).
It is the saga "Nowell Fine": kugel, liberal and survivor. Pieter-Dirk Uys presents various episodes in her life from 1976 to 2004; fighting apartheid, blaming apartheid, towards the future when apartheid is just a pigment of the imagination. First produced in 1998 at Evita se Perron in Darling, then going on tour.
In 2000 adapted as a SATV series, directed by Robert Davis.
