Mr Kirton

(18**-18**) Mowbray resident and amateur actor. called an "excellent low comedian" by Laidler (1926, p54).

A member of Lycett's Company. Had a role in their production of Richard III (1849/1850?).

Also performed on occasion for the Garrison Players, inter alia specifically mentioned in St. Cupid (Jerrold) and The Bloomer Costume(Stirling) on 2 May 1854; The Queen's Horse on 5 June, 1854;
