Skoppensboer ("the jack of spades") has been used as the title of two dramatic works in South Africa.

is a translation into Afrikaans of The Ruffian on the Stair by Joe Orton.

The theme-tune of the series - Ek Wil Jou Ken (= "I want to know you") - was written by singer/actress Anneli van Rooyen.
