In 1969, presumably while studying at the University of Cape Town, he played "Guidernstern" in Robert Mohr's star studded student production of Hamlet for the University of Cape Town Drama Department in the Little Theatre in 1969.
He did work for Carousel Productions, in association with Craig Curtis, inter alia designs for Lock Up Your Daughters (1972) and Bitter Sweet (1974).

Biography
The sources on this Nic Goodwin are somewhat contradictory at times, but broadly:
He attended King Edward VII School toll grade 11, then completed his matric at Damelin College. Studied Hospitality Management at the Wits Technikon Hotel School, before completing a BA in Mass Communication and Media Studies at the University of Johannesburg (specializing in Audio Visual Production Mangement) (2003-2007?). Master's degree, Business Leadership Master's degree, UNISA School of Business Leadership (2013 - 2015).
In 2022 he did a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Management at Regenassys (a private higher education institution based in Sandton, South Africa).
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
Nic began his post production career in 2003 while studying Audio Visual Production Management at UJ,
Has worked for a range of companies, including being a Senior Editor and Partner at Nova Post Production
Since 2020 works as a senior Video Editor for, and owner of, The Syndicate post production house.[1]
