Performance history in South Africa
1867: Performed by "Le Roy's Original Company" in the Theatre Royal, Cape Town on 28 March and 1 April, with Municipal Muddles, or Love in the Dark (Utting) and A Terrible Secret (Waldron).
1867: Performed in the Theatre Royal, Harrington Street, Cape Town by Le Roy's Original Company on 4 April, 1867 under the patronage and presence of Captain Collins and the officers from the American war sloop Sacramento, and was accompanied by a performance of Aurora Floyd (Braddon/Anon) with Naval officer J.C. Howard assisting with the latter play.
