The LM Radio Museum and Sound Archive

This site records the history of the Radio Clube de Moçambique, and Lourenco Marques Radio (or better known as LM Radio), the first commercial radio station in Africa (active 1935-1974), broadcasting on short wave from Lourenço Marques in neighbouring Mozambique. Particularly well supported for its popular music programmes, the station was also hugely influential in South Africa as an alternative to the state owned SABC. Many South African personalities worked for it over the years and the website includes valuable potted biographies of such individuals.

The L.T.T. Website

L.T.T. is the acronym for Literêre Terme en Teorieë, an Afrikaans/Dutch/English website of literary terms and theories, primarily aimed at the Afrikaans speaking student, teacher or lecturer. Originating from the printed version published by HAUM-Literêr in Pretoria in 1992, it was digitalized in 2008.

The website contains theatrical terminology and theories as well.
