Biography
He worked with many includes Presto theatre international, Durban playhouse company, Themi Venturas productions, Braad Kietzman and associates, Eager artists, Sagiya foundation, Ikhwezi Le-Afrika and Saatchi & Saatchi advertising agency in London. He wrote and directed many theatrical productions includes Long journey- The musical, Women in singing, Happiness through the midst, The Drop, Ancestors are talking, Talking spirits, Man and the earth, Phathizwe, Magic of Africa. He also wrote three radio drama for KZN Ezemvelo Wildlife and many corporate theatre productions for companies includes Sanlam, Unilever, Colgate Palmolive, Kzn Ezemvelo wildlife, Dulux, Ithala, Pmg events. The countries he toured include German, London, Hong Kong, Zimbabwe, Morrocco, Washington DC and the whole South Africa. In 2017 he released his first single’ Izinyembezi’. In 2020 he released his first album’ Introspection.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He started out as an actor, inter alia playing a witchdoctor in the intenrational film Reuniting the Rubins (2010). He eventually also moved into playwriting, composing, directing and production
He has done work for a number of companies, including Mbumba Arts and is the founder and CEO of Just In Time Productions.
Projects have included Happiness Through the Mist and The Roots/Izimpambe (both done at The Playhouse, and the collaborative piece The Poisoned Mango (2011)
