A Russian stage and film producer, director and actor, whose many film projects have included The Immigrant (1991), Vengeance (2012), The Last Getaway (2012).

He visited South Africa in the 1980s and performed in and directed The Bear by Anton Chekov at Harrington Street 105, with Afrikaans actors Chris Truter and Christa de Jager.
