Magrieta Prinsloo

by S.J. du Toit, A modernized and adapted version of Du Toit's Magrita Prinslo, of Liifde getrou tot in di dood (“Magrita Prinslo, or Love faithful unto death”) of 189*, first produced 1897. The adaptation is by S.P.E Boshoff and was published in ** by ** in 1917. This version was often performed by amateurs and professionals alike, notably so in Beaufort West under the direction of Hendrik Hanekom.
