Biography
Born in London where she attended a convent school until she was 16 years of age. She was thereafter taken to Australia, and thence journeyed to South Africa, to begin a theatrical career with Leonard Rayne, before joining joined Kate Vaughan during her tour and was later being associated with the companies of George Edwardes in London, performing there and in various parts of the empire.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
While a member of Leonard Rayne's company, she played a number of children's and soubrette roles in a the plays they produced.
