The Profligate is a play in four acts by Arthur Wing Pinero ()[].

First performed at the Comedy Theatre, London, 18 December, 1900 and published in London and New York by Samuel French in 1900.

Performance history in South Africa

1892: Performed as Jane in the Vaudeville Theatre, Cape Town, by the visiting Emilie Bevan Comedy Company as part of a three-and-a-half month season of 20 plays which began on 8 August.
