Nat ("Wet" or the well-known acronym for the "Nationalist Party" active in the previous dispensation in South Africa) occurs as the title of two South African plays in 2016:

2016: Staged by Rust Co-Operative in the Artscape and Rosebank Theatres in Cape Town and at the KKNK, directed by Penelope Youngleson, with Iman Isaacs and Richard September.

Nat by Henque Heymans (1985-)

The original text

This is a one man performance text, one of two of the four opening pieces written by Heymans as part of DEURnis; South Africa’s first one-on-one site specific theatre production, of which he was a co-creator.

2017: Nat was performed by Stephanie Gericke and directed by Aneshree Paul at the Aardklop Kunstefees in 2016 and in Centurion (February 2017).
