Biography
Born in Plymouth on 24 October 1939 to British parents returning from the Argentine by ship shortly after the outbreak
He is married to actress Pauline Bailey.
He passed away June 27, 2019.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
His plays include Windmills of the Mind. This play, with Kerry Jordan, Michael McCabe, John Hussey and Bobby Heaney was directed by François Swart for PACT in 1979. CAPAB mounted their own production of the play simultaneously, opening 18 June 1979 at the Nico Malan Theatre Centre.
He also wrote What's in a Name, a comedy in two acts. (Playscript held by NELM: [Collection: ARTSCAPE]: 2013. 65. 81).

Windmills of the Mind received the Amstel Playwright of the Year Award in 1978, sharing with Time and the Wood by James Ambrose Brown.
