1868: Performed in Cape Town by the Lanarkshire Dramatic Club (amateur players from the 99th Regiment) in the Garrison Theatre, Cape Town, on 17 June, with A Ticket of Leave (), and "Sailor's Hornpipe" by Lieutenant Moir and a song ("The Bellringer") by C. Hayes.
