The Masterplan is a play by Muthal Naidoo. It is a satire on the South African Government's constitutional proposals in the early 1980s. Five actors depict stereotypes of people in the street and politicians reacting to the constitutional proposals.
Performance history in South Africa
1983: Staged in Reservoir Hills outside Durban and in Verulam, including the author in the cast.
The play was banned under Section 47 (2) e of the Publications Act 1974.
