First performed as Cabman No. 93, or Found in a Four Wheeler at the Lyceum Theatre on 26 December, 1867.
Published by T.H. Lacy and by De Witt's Acting Plays (no. 24).

1870: Performed in the Institute Assembly Hall, Cape Town, by The Young Men's Institute and Club Dramatic Company on 14 June with The Slave Ship (by an unnamed member of the club) and A Bachelor of Arts (Hardwicke).
