Great Volunteers' Parade

The Great Volunteers' Parade was a public event that event took place in Durbanville, Cape Town, on 6 October, 1859.

The event

The parade included performances by the Cape Town Theatrical Club in association with other amateurs, presented the burlesque Frederick of Prussia, or The Monarch and the Mimic (Selby) and Whitebait at Greenwich (Morton).
