Former editor of 'Echo' newspaper and ex-assistant editor of the 'Natal Witness'
He passed away in Pietermaritzburg in July 2016.
Career

Among the plays that he wrote are Pity! Maritzburg and the controversial Bone 4 Mandela (2001).
Awards, etc
His play Pity! Maritzburg was nominated for a Vita Award (National) in 1991.
He won a Lifetime Achievement Award for his work as a journalist in 2009.
