A theatre journal founded by *** in 1973*?. Only 6(?*) issues appeared sporadically between 1973 and 1979 (?*), but the articles are valuable resources on the vastly under-reported black theatre of the townships and rural areas under Apartheid. It also offered a forum for the discussion of practical and theoretical issues concerning the marginalized and oppressed theatre of black South Africa.***** Numerous influential writers have published in the journal, including Credo Mutwa, Sipho Sepamla, Robert Kavanagh (writing as Mshengu and under a variety of other pseudonyms).
