Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerbil
Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerbil (or, to give its full title: Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerbil, of Eene Les Voor Oude Jongeheeren - i.e. "A little adventure of Mr Frog Buttock, or a lesson for old youngsters") is a comedy in one act by Theodoor van der Stempel (fl 1860s).
It is often found under its shorter title: Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerbil.
The title is wrongly cited as Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerlib in F.C.L. Bosman (1980, p. 470).

The original text
Written for the Rederijkers, it was published as Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerbil, of Eene Les Voor Oude Jongeheeren in 1871, and was performed in Leiden in 1872.

Performance history in South Africa
1875: Performed in Dutch (apparently as Een Avontuurtje van Mijnheer Kikkerlib) by Aurora II on 8 April in the Athenaeum Hall, Cape Town, with De Vadersvloek, of Misdaad en Wroeging (T. van der Stempel).
