Marion Holm (born circa 1965). Actress and comedienne.

Biography

Training

Studied at the University of Stellenbosch from 1983. She left before completing the degree but returned to studying much later and was awarded a BA degree in December 2015.


Career

She worked for CAPAB and PACOFS.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Hoewel Holm die afgelope paar jaar hoofsaaklik fokus op vervaardigingswerk (sy en Marietjie Rossouw bestuur Handyminds en Van Greunen Wordsmith's Theatre Factory wat verantwoordelik is vir die produksie van Die vrou wat haar man gekook het) *** Panorama (Pieter-Dirk Uys, 1988) **Jong Dames Dinamiet, Aardklop, High Street Theatre, 2002.


She has worked on several one-woman shows, often collaborating with Hennie van Greunen or Chris Vorster. Christine (1987), Die Nag van Legio (PACOFS),Don Ngxubane Onner die Boere (1994), Dolle as Kop-af (KKNK 2001), Die Van Aardes van Grootoor (Innibos, 2012)

She played “Dol” in the television series Vlug na Egipte and its sequel Terug na Egipte.
