Een Hedendaagsch Duel ("a contemporary duel") is a dramatic sketch by "Giuseppe"

The original text

The only reference to be found is the one in Bosman (1980). Performance history in South Africa

1867: Performed in Dutch as Een Hedendaagsch Duel (Guiseppe) by Aurora II in Paarl, as an afterpiece to Gustaaf Wasa (Von Kotzebue) on 7 November.
