Als Men Zijn Beurs Verloren Heeft ("When someone has lost his purse") is the Dutch version of an unidentified French one-act play by Marc-Michel (1812-1868)[1] and Laurencin (1806-1890)[2]

Translations and adaptations

The Dutch version of the unnamed French text was published as Als Men Zijn Beurs Verloren Heeft (and referred to as a play for children) by G. Theod. Bom, Amsterdam, 1866.

Performance history in South Africa

1894: Performed in the Dutch version in Pretoria by the Rederijkerskamer Onze Taal, probably in the President Theatre.
