The Knight of the Burning Pestle is a 1607 parody play by English playwrights Francis Beaumont (1584-1616) and John Fletcher (1579-1625).

First published in a quarto in 1613.

Performance history in South Africa

1953: Presented by the Department of Speech and Drama of the University of Cape Town, produced by Mavis Taylor at the Little Theatre, Cape Town and at the Botha Hall, Stellenbosch in June 1953. Costumes designed by Mavis Taylor and Doreen Graves, decor by Cecil Pym, music by Primrose Stevenson and lighting by E.G. Marshall.
