LaVerne Burden was an American singer.
Sometimes also found as La Verne Burden (e.g. in Tucker, 1997).
She married the South African matinee idol Ivan Berold. They had two children. After their divorce she returned to America.
In South Africa she appeared as Laurey in Oklahoma! in 1948.
